Nepal bans PUBG
Recently video games have come into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. The genre that seems to attract the haters is Battle Royale. This time, the country of Nepal has banned the Bluehole title following the footsteps of its neighbors, India. According to the government of Nepal, the video game is addictive, and therefore the youth should not play it.
The ban does not come with a simple warning. Since they have prohibited any Internet provider and mobile operator from giving access to the video game. It is not the first time that a government revolted against the Battle Royale title. Less than a month ago, in the Indian state of Gujarat, 10 teenagers were arrested for playing the game. In India, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is banned since the beginning of March.
