Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian youth with speech impairment in the West Bank city of Hebron on Sunday, according to a Palestinian NGO.
In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said Ammar Amer, 21, was detained "although he was a deaf-mute".
It remains unclear why the youth was arrested.
The society said five more Palestinians were arrested by Israeli forces in Hebron, Ramallah and the district of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem.
