Data collected by the Ministry of Health showed that 270 Palestinians were killed by Israeli army gunfire, including 52 children, six women and one elderly man, and 16,556 were injured including 3310 children and 1088 women, since the outbreak of the March of Return protests at the Gaza border with Israel on March 30, 2018 until the March 30, 2019.
It said that 551 of the injuries were considered critical, 7024 moderate, 8616 light and 365 were unclassified.
Among the injuries, 6846 were from live bullets, 865 from rubber-coated metal bullets, 2426 suffocation from teargas, 6419 from shrapnel and other injuries.
