Our country has been exposed to coup attempts in certain periods throughout the Republican period. So that we can call this period coups era. Because of the historical, strategical and social importance of the region in which we live, Turkey is never left on her own.
As in all post-coup periods, new scenerios started to be created and new powers have emerged that try to take advantage of the uncertainty after the July 15 coup attempt.
First and foremost it is worth noting this reality: all of the coup attempts are externally supported. It is quite obvious that the July 15 coup attempt was carried out by a proxy structure (FETO-PDY) recruited and carefully deployed in the country by global powers for decades. The post-coup attempt statements of the USA and the European countries clearly demonstrate this fact. Expecting the withdrawal of global powers/intelligence services after a failed coup attempt would be a sheer carelessness. It should be known that, as in all cases, the planners of this coup perform multiple-staged process. Namely;
If the coup attempt had been successful, the system having external links would have been made dominant in Turkey with all its organizations.
In case of the failure of the attempt, the country would end up with endless dark chaos and would almost be Syrianized.
Both possibilities have been successfully thwarted thanks to our nations’ wise and prudent resistance (with political, military and civil society forces). Now a third plan was put into operation which is to destroy the sensitivity to the religious/Islamic values in the society and to extend the rhetoric of the importance and the necessity of the secular life.
In short, the operative work of global powers which organized the July 15 coup attempt still continues. That is, the third phase of the plan are on the agenda. It should be known by everyone that the coup attempts so far were carried out by the other secularist and militarist proxy of the global system. It is an obvious reality that what the pro-coup, secular, nationalist structure had done plays part in the build-up of the Gulen movement restructured under the guise of religion, getting protection of all governments for forty years and smoothed its way especially after the September 12 coup.
In the light of all these, after this failed coup attempt we can say that:
It is neccesary to be slow and sure against the former putschist clique when extracting the ones in connection with FETO.
The antidote of the FETO movement is not secularism, on the contrary the secular mentality gave birth to FETO. What is to be done is to make the foundations, organizations and communities in harmony with the values and traditions of the society transparent.
The investigations and legal proceedings regarding FETO should be handled rigorously.
